Ms. Ayanna Gray has been an integral part of Aurora Psychological Services since inception. Ms. Gray is masterfully proficient with insurance, credentialing, billing and office management. She has twenty (20) years of overseeing and managing a billing and compliance department ensuring requirements are attained for multiple insurance carriers. Ms. Gray keeps all providers compliant with CAQH, state continuing education credits and malpractice insurance. She is an invaluable member of our team and one who brightens everyone’s day.
SSG Miguel Sierra (ret)
SSG Miguel Sierra (ret) is an Army veteran who spent 10 years on Active Duty serving as a Behavioral Health Clinic (NCOIC), Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Resiliency Program Manager, Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Sexual Assault Victim Advocate. While in the Army, Mr. Sierra developed a passion for helping and motivating Soldiers to excel by empowering them to make sound decisions, advocate for themselves and their Battle Buddies, and face adversity directly and with minimal fear. The result was more cohesive units that accomplished their missions effectively, efficiently, and with a sense of pride in their work. While active duty, SSGT Sierra conducted over 900 empowered, impassioned and interactive trainings aimed to reduce the high numbers of fallen service members by suicide spanning from the National Capital Region (Fort Belvoir, Quantico, The Pentagon, Fort Myer) across the country to Hawaii (Schofield Barracks, Tripler Army Medical Center) frequesntly stating he feels tasked with the most important mission of overseeing the training of personnel in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention techniques, and creating a culture of understanding and connectedness throughout the workplace community. SSG Sierra (ret) has brought that same passion to the civilian sector, helping organizations and schools bring the best out of their employees, members, students and faculty. He has continued to conduct Suicide Prevention and team building trainings for several military units, youth leadership and community organizations such as The Marion Barry Leadership Academy in DC, and a few local businesses in the Washington Metro Area. In 2020, Miguel founded My Brother’s Keeper (MBK Tribe), a support group and healing space for men whose mission is to create the greatest generation of men ever by deconstructing historically toxic societal expectations and behaviors. He will continue to present to organizations his dynamic and interactive presentations on suicide prevention, suicide awareness, and postvention techniques if requested.

Dr. Ilese Ominsky is a licensed School Psychologist and resident in Clinical Psychology in the state of Virginia and Maryland. She has over 15 years of experience assessing the needs of children and adults. Dr. Ominsky excels in the use of professional interventions to assess the current cognitive and emotional processing abilities of children, teens and adults through the most recent advances in psychological assessment tools. In addition, she also conducts individual therapy, couples and groups. She has immediate availability for daytime and evening appointments.

Demetrius Hollinsworth
Mr. Demetrius Hollingsworth is a Social Worker with over twenty (20) years’ experience and an honored United States veteran who served in the Army. During his time in service, Mr. Hollingsworth was chosen for advanced Mental Heath training which contributed to his degree in Social Work. Mr. Hollingsworth has recently joined Aurora Psychological Services and will bring that specialty experience of being a psychometrician focusing on children with cognitive deficits and/or difficulties to our practice. While at Aurora Psychological Services, Mr. Hollingsworth with primarily facilitate the neurocognitive laboratory which focuses on improving cognition, focus, memory, and executive function.
