Major Pierre Larkin (ret)
Major Larkin held various positions during his military career field as both an enlisted and commissioned officer. His last assignment was the Deputy Chief of Contracts for the HOA (Horn of Africa) in the Combined Joint Task Force. Major Larkin oversaw the daily operations of a contracting office with multiple employees and millions of dollars in government contracts supporting active duty service members and civilians.
Major Larkin retired in April 2016 after 32 years of honorable service where he now assists veterans with the administrative processes, to apply, and obtain benefits as an advocate and life coach. He reported he utilizes various psychological assessment measures including, but limited to the Myers Briggs assessment as a tool for coaching and mentoring. A thorough assessment allows him to better understand how he can best assist his clients and helps with obtaining the desired outcome for his clients.
Pierre Larkin is also a PSIA-AASI certified snowboard instructor. His certifications helps him utilize recreational therapy as a tool for life coaching. This outdoor adaptive sports tool allows a venue for bonding and recovery during the winter seasons. During the spring and summer cycling, archery and hiking are other venues.
His many years of service allows him to draw from a breadth of leadership training from both non-commissioned and commissioned sources. His passion is to continue to serve and help others find their inner strength and passion for life.
